December 28 – Achieve What’s the thing you most want to achieve next year? How do you imagine you’ll feel when you get it? Free? Happy? Complete? Blissful? Write that feeling down. Then, brainstorm 10 things you can do, or 10 new thoughts you can think, in order to experience that feeling today.
I want to finish up a sewing project that I started over a year ago. I can't give more details because the project will turn into a special gift for someone. I imagine that I'll feel a huge sense of accomplishment, but more importantly great joy in being able to hand this accomplishment over to someone I love very much. Here are 10 things/thoughts to give me that same feeling today.
1. Handing out compliments
2. Writing daily on my blog
3. Making a great meal for my son
4. Recognizing important moments for the people I love
5. Taking my dog for a walk
6. Taking time to visit with my neighbors when I see them
7. Being in the moment and not worrying about what else I need to be doing
8. Telling my family that I love them
9. Reminding myself that I am special
10. Celebrating the small stuff!
