Day 12: Body Integration

Body Integration This year, when did you feel the most integrated with your body? Did you have a moment where there wasn’t mind and body, but simply a cohesive YOU, alive and present? (Author: Patrick Reynolds)

I can't pinpoint an exact time when I felt that I was completely in tune with the world around me, but it has happened. It usually happens when I least expect it, so clearly I have no sense of how to make it happen. But, boy do I love it! I feel invincible and like I can accomplish anything in front of me.

I think one of the ways that I can work on being more integrated is just taking the time to be silent. Be silent at work during a meeting to allow others to voice their opinions. Just take in what they are saying and really contemplate it. Instead of spending my time thinking about what I'm going to say next. I think this will allow me to become more cohesive in my reactions - something I really want to improve this year.
