Annoying Coworker

Ok, so it's official.  I finally met someone at my new job that is going to drive me absolutely crazy.  C'mon, we all knew it was inevitable, didn't we?  Can't work at a job with over 200 employees in the same building and figure you are going to like them all.  Interesting that it took me almost 5 months, though, to meet one that I consider incredibly annoying :). 

This nice man, and yes, he truly is nice, is fairly high up on the food chain.  So, unfortunately that means I need to live with the annoyance of him and do what I can to make his life easier.  You see, he truly is a great person.  However, he is also really good at making everyone bend to his will to do his work.  Anything he likes or has an interest in has to be done right away.  Doesn't matter that you might be working on a $9M grant that is due in 2 weeks, or the first of its kind renewable fuels plant that is supposed to begin construction in the new year.  Geesh. 

Like I said, we all knew it would eventually happen.  I guess I should count myself lucky that there is only one truly annoying person so far!!
