Sunday

I'm exhausted today as we had another very bad night last night. Thankfully, even though the night was bad, I found out some more information that I can use to continue to help Caleb. Young men do not share very much unless pushed to the limit, or at least my teenager reacts this way. So, it was another night of getting up every hour to check on him. I'm hoping that tonight is better.

Caleb may be bringing over a new friend tonight after he gets off of work. I'm excited by the possibility of meeting someone new in Caleb's life & I just pray that he is a big nerd that likes nothing but nerdy things :). Caleb seems excited to introduce us. I'll let you know more if I finally get to meet him.

I met Faith & Kelly for breakfast this morning at the Cracker Barrel. Good food always, but I had a lot of fun just talking with the both of them. Seems like Faith may have a new young man in her life, but she isn't being too forthcoming on the details :). I'll be excited to meet him, too. I went with Faith last night driving & she did wonderful!! I remember how scary it was to start driving & feel for her that she has to learn in Sioux Falls where the traffic can be quite unforgiving. She is picking up on things really quick & her confidence is pretty high. I'm very proud of her!

Caleb & did some yard work this morning in the front yard. Finally moved the stump from front & center of my yard. The front of the house is really starting to look good. A lot of hard work, but it is all worth it.

Positives for today
  1. Marzetti salad dressing was on sale at Walmart - with my coupons, I got 3 bottles for 50 cents each - very cool!! Plus, I needed some poppy seed for my potato salad I plan on making this weekend (yes, that is my secret ingredient - shhh).
  2. My flowers are growing back in the backyard - these are the ones that Caleb accidentally weed-whacked a couple of weeks ago.
  3. clean clothes - I haven't done laundry in a while - taking me almost all day, but sure will be nice to have options to wear to work!
