Tuesday

I have the afternoon off today as I teach class tonight. I'm a bit frustrated with the hot weather as I had planned on getting the last of my rose bushes dug up this afternoon. It is just too hot for me. Plus someone at work told me that you can really stress them out by transplanting them when it is this hot - I thought that was a good excuse not to do it :). I did get some of my lawn mowed & am doing a lot of my chores around the house. So, at least I'm getting some things done.

It has been pretty quiet around here the last couple of days. Caleb had to work Sunday & then did a split shift yesterday. He also works tonight. So, he is taking it pretty easy this afternoon. Plus, now that I don't need to keep track of what is going on with him & school, sure leaves a ton of free time for me. And, getting up the mornings is such a breeze now! Only one person to take care of - me!! I've made it to work by 7am both days this week & got a lot done in that quiet time with no one else there.

Positives for today

1. some of the bulbs I planted earlier in the spring are coming through - of course they could just be the weeds :)
2. I'm finally caught up on laundry
3. watched one of my taped Days of Lives shows this afternoon - haven't watched for weeks, so was fun to catch up on what is going on. Funny that you cannot watch a soap for a month & have no problem catching up on a story line in 1 hour - ha ha.
