I'm sitting here trying to help Caleb with his homework and write this blog at the same time. So, this will be short & possibly very disjointed :). Tonight we had our trainee poster presentation and award ceremony at work. I forgot about it until about 1/2 way through the day - feel kind of bad about that! But, it was nice to get to see all of our trainees' posters on the research they have been doing for the past 9 months. There were some great projects out there. I was able to help a couple with their literature reviews, so I had a previous on some of them. We also gave out some awards to some great people we worked with throughout the year. One award was to a mom who really advocated for the autism funding this past legislative session. She was very eloquent as she thanked everyone for recognizing her efforts, but it was extremely emotional when she described how her family's lives were impacted by our staff. I was so happy I remembered to go!

Positives for today

1. They finally found a vein when they drew blood at my doctor's appointment this morning. Unfortunately took them 3 sticks - ick!
