Ok, this title is a bit misleading. No, I didn’t get a chance to see the President. Heck, he wasn’t even in the same state as I was. However, I do sit by one of the people that got to see him – does that count?

I still find it so funny that I have become this passionate about the production of biofuels in just over 3 months! I was even thrilled today when I found out that we received a desperate call from someone on the coast looking for large amounts of corn cobs to help clean up that atrocious oil spill. How interesting is it that the material being collected to create cellulosic ethanol will be used to clean up an environmentally-deadly oil spill. Just saying :).
