The best laid plans...

Well, I posted all these great things I wanted to get done today, but didn't get close to getting it all done.  Why does that always happen? 

I did make it to church with Derek & we had a great time.  He has introduced me to some of his friends and they have met us at church the last couple of weeks.  I really love how that church opens its arms to everyone, especially people with disabilities.  The last couple of times we have gone, these two young men who are ushers have gone out of their way to both stop and talk to use for quite awhile before the service begins.  I can see how much it means to Derek and his friends & it really shows how good people are in this world!

I did get a little shopping done, but didn't find my cute strappy sandals or anything fun for myself.  I bought a few groceries and got Caleb some new underwear.  Oh, boy, what fun was that - not!

I did get a little reading done and made a few easy meals to put in the freezer for the next couple of weeks.  Caleb had to work 4-11 today, so didn't see much of him either. 

I'm just winding down the day watching the AMCs - anyone else obsessed with that Lady Antebellum song????  I don't even really like country music that much, but that song is completely addictive.
