Faith is going to USD this next year! Wahoo! I never knew how much allegiance I felt to my alma mater until she made that decision to go there. All of these great memories came rushing back. Fun times and no worries. Ok, there probably should have been more worries and less fun times, but heck, I was young… I love hearing about her plans and envisioning which dorm she is going to live in, her classes & what professors she will have. I think there is a good chance that she will take classes from some my old professors. I wonder if Dr. Bastille is still teaching there? It would be great for her to get a chance to take a good literature class from that crazy old man. Her mom & I could really give her some great tips on how to write her papers – more quotes, more quotes!
She is one lucky girl to have made it through her teenage years and getting ready to start on her new adventure. Yep, I’m jealous. Here she is embarking on something new and exciting. And, here I am, right smack dab in the middle of having to be responsible. Oh, to be young again. I just hope she doesn’t forget her favorite aunt (sorry Heather!) and lets me in the door when I come to visit her weekly. Ok, just kidding, Faith. But, seriously, I promise to bring quarters for the washing machines and food every time I visit. I’m already planning out the care packages for her first set of finals. Oh…I’m SO JEALOUS!
