New Shoes

The past year, I've become a bit obsessed with shoes. Not sure how it happened. I used to own about 4 pairs of shoes. One practical pair of brown, one practical pair of black, one pair of sandals and one pair of tennis shoes.

Ok, I think I take that statement back - I've only the past several years been practical about my shoes. I used to be obsessed with cute, fun shoes when I was in college. You know - pre mom. I had some awesome vans! My favorite were my navy blue with white polka dot vans. Too cute - I miss those shoes.

Then I became a mom and I guess I assumed I needed to be practical. So, I moved beyond my fun shoes. I became boring. Boring mom in my boring, practical, comfy shoes.

Since I started working at my new job, I'm dressing up a lot more. I'm wearing more heels and dress boots. I've become obsessed with shoes again. And, I love it! I needed a new pair of black flats that I could wear with dress pants. I came across these really cute penny loafers from one of my favorite shoe brands. So, I had to buy them. Nope, they weren't navy blue with polka dots, but I still think they are cute. Cannot wait to wear them!
