Too many spares? Simplify your pairs!

Some of you may have wondered why I had a goal this year to buy more socks. Well, I have a horrible sock drawer and I curse it everytime I get dressed in the morning and cannot find any decent socks, especially trouser socks. I'm tired of socks with holes in them, or trouser socks with the elastic at the top worn out so they fall down throughout the day!

Because of this, I was very intrigued by the post titled Too many spares? Simplify your pairs! on the Small Notebook blog. I thought for sure that someone else was having the same issues as I was with my socks. I laughed out loud when I saw the post was about underwear! Too funny. But, I guess the same issue. Why do we do such a poor job of replacing and stocking our "unmentionables" drawers, but have no problem buying new clothes when there is a good sale? Interesting....
