One of my favorite TV shows has always been Seinfeld. There is just something about that off-the-cuff funny stuff that just makes me happy. Plus, I also enjoy the physical comedy that comes through Kramer – who doesn’t love it when he scoots into Jerry’s apartment in a rush of silliness! I have many favorite episodes and definitely a couple I can live without ever seeing again (finale!), but there is one in particular that has been coming to mind lately. I set a goal for myself to be more positive at work. This is a goal I set for myself every year at work. I usually make it about 1 month into it and it all goes downhill from there. Good news is that I have an easier time of being positive in my current job. Now, that is another blog all together. The Seinfeld episode that I often think about when I am chiding myself for being negative is the one where Jerry imagines his girlfriend’s stomach talking to him at night. He walks around pretending like he is her stomach saying “heelloo” in a really deep voice. It cracks me up like there is no tomorrow – which is why I think of that when I feel myself going below the line. Remind me to demonstrate the actions that go with it next time you see me. Too funny!!!
I wish I could figure out how to insert the actual video into this post, but since I can't feel free to visit a montage to this Seinfeld moment here:
