Day 22: Travel

December 22 – Travel How did you travel in 2010? How and/or where would you like to travel next year? (Author: Tara Hunt)

2010 did not have as much travel as past years. This has a lot to do with the change in jobs. The only travel that I did was to the Black Hills in South Dakota for our summer vacation over the 4th of July and a quick trip to Emmetsburg, IA for work. To be honest, I actually enjoyed having a travel free year when it came to work. Traveling during the issues that were going on with my son can be very difficult. I hate asking my sister to always take on the parenting role when I'm gone, so it worked out better to not have to travel.

For 2011, I really hope to make a couple of trips out to Colorado. We are planning on a vacation again over the 4th of July to Silverthorne Colorado - Love that place! I'm also hoping to make a trip this spring to Denver to visit with my sister and her family and to hopefully take a tour of a college that my son is looking at. I believe that there will be another trip to Golden, CO for work.
