Day 15: Memory

5 Minutes Imagine you will completely lose your memory of 2010 in five minutes. Set an alarm for five minutes and capture the things you most want to remember about 2010. (Author: Patti Digh)

Actually kind of funny - I've already clearly lost my memory since this is day 15 and today is actually the 17th :) - I'm sure you all noticed I'm a couple of days behind, but I promise to catch up this weekend.

Honestly, some of 2010 can best be forgotten, so this one is a bit harder for me. But, here is a bullet list of those highlights that I know will forever be in my memories!
  • Starting my new job - great career move, but I feel like it really expanded my chances to learn not only a new industry, but how to be a better "business woman"
  • My 40th birthday out at the Black Hills. Granted it wasn't actually my birthday on that day, but the celebration was the best I could have ever hoped for - surrounded by the people I love the most!
  • 4th of July parade at the cabin in the hills with the Loganator. What good times we had when we let loose and found ourselves just acting like 2-year-olds in hopes of improving the little guy's mood.
  • The growth in my relationship with my son. While the teenager/mother relationship is still there as strong as ever, I feel that we made some steps to growing closer at friends. I never want to forget that!
I'm sure there are many more, but these are the highlights that I can come up with after only 1 cup of coffee.
