Thanks to my son's former counselor, I have found a wonderful church here in Sioux Falls. Celebrate is just like it name states - a great place to celebrate. There is lots of great music, fellowship & lessons in being a better person. I've been attending church there pretty regularly for about a year and I feel so accepted into the community. I honestly never felt that I would view my church as a community that I wanted to belong to. I know this sounds odd, but my previous churches have focused more on making me feel guilty about the sins I may have committed - especially in having a son outside of marriage. So, it feels very good to be in a place that celebrates life. I'd like to focus this next year in becoming more involved at the church to expand that sense of community.
