Snow! Yep - we got snow. And, cold. And, wind. I truly like snow...usually. This time I'm just annoyed. First it took me 1 hour to get home last night from work. Yep, you heard me right - 1 hour! This was probably my fault. Instead of taking the interstate (I get nervous driving fast in snow), I went down one of the main roads. It was stop and go the entire way. For example, at 3 blocks away from the turn off I needed to take, Caleb called. I talked to him for a full 12 minutes and I still wasn't to the turn off when he had to hang up. Ridiculous! Next time, I'll take the interstate.
Then I had to get up at 5 am this morning to shovel. Caleb was hired by our neighbor to shovel for her this winter. So, not only did I have to shovel our yard, I felt obligated to shovel hers. Ok, that sounded kind of whiny. Honestly, it didn't bother me shoveling hers. It bothered me shoveling mine :)! Funny how sometimes it is easier to help others than ourselves.
So, while I usually like snow, I'm just angry at it today. Again, might be a sign of other things going on, but I'm truly annoyed by the disgusting little flakes. So annoyed, I might get my hair dryer out just to melt some of those little buggers!
P.S. I should probably explain the title of this. My nephew thought it was cute to say "What the heck!" there for awhile. I also thought it was cute, but his mom & dad weren't so enamored. We were skyping one day and he was showing me his puppy impressions when his internet went down. Later, got a text from his mom that he declared: woof! what the heck?! woof! when it happened. Cracked me up & I've affectionately used the phrase in similar situations ever since then. But, only around my family...I promise...not sure how the men at work would react to such a statement :).
