Where is the sun?!

Yes, I'm still alive.  I know that I haven't written on this blog for almost an entire year.  Honestly, there just isn't enough time in the day to do things I like very often.  However, I'm getting better about trying to force time for these types of things whenever possible.  I love writing, so I'm committed to making time to do this more often. 

So, what happened to the sun today?  It was beautiful out earlier and now it is getting chillier and is cloudy.  Kind of crazy - I was sitting outside on the computer wondering if I might be getting a bit of a suntan and then it all went away.  Oh well, gives me a good excuse not to have to finish raking the backyard. 

Speaking of the backyard, I'm embarrased to even admit this, but I'm raking it because there is so much dog poop out there that I think it may be drifting.  Ok, that may be an exaggeration, but it is pretty bad.  In my defense, there weren't very many options this winter for Cena to go to the bathroom.  In fact, for awhile, Caleb even had to go out and shovel an area for Cena to use to go to the bathroom.  It was pretty funny when Caleb took it even further to create a maze in the snow for Cena to use!  I wish I would have gotten that on video. 

I went to Mendards this morning to buy some things for the yard.  I really have spring fever right now, so was fun to pick up a few things.  I hired a landscaper earlier in the week to do some things in my front yard.  So, I had to buy some things to help to spruce up the backyard so it wouldn't feel left out. 

So, here is my promise to all of you to be better about writing on this blog.  I enjoy the chance to journal in this way, and to know that people I truly care about may be reading it.  So, I'm ready to try my hardest!  Know, where is that darn sun??!!
