I enjoy reading the blogs of friends and family members who use them, so I thought it was time to start my own. I used to be an avid journaler (is that even a word!) and have wanted to start that again. Using an electronic journal like this blog was intriguing to me. I also wanted to have a public forum to make myself more accountable for getting healthy. So, I plan on using this blog to track the amount of walking I am doing, but I probably won't bore the masses with entries to my food log. I figure if there are others out there, hopefully my family and friends, who see what I am doing, then it will force me to continue on my path to become healthier. I'm ready to get started!
