Happy Birthday, Heather!

Today is my little sister's birthday. Isn't it funny that I still call her my little sister? I guess in my mind she will always be that little munchkin that came into our lives to cause us pain and suffering! ha ha. Poor girl heard lots of stories about the pain she caused Kelly and me when she was little. So happy that she grew out of that head biting stage. We were a little worried that she would never get past that :).

Seriously, though, Heather has always been a great sister and an even better friend. There have been times when she was my most trusted confident and my partner in crime. As we have gotten older, I continue to marvel at the great woman she turned out to be. I'm sure it had a lot to do with those philosophical discussions we would have when we drove back and forth from school each day. Ok. I know that I take way too much credit for her current success.

I'm so proud of what Heather has done with her life. She has a career in a field dominated mostly by men and she is very successful! She is also a patient and loving wife to a great man. Last, she is the mom that I always wished I could be. Granted, she has the greatest kid in the world, so that must help her be a lot more successful at motherhood than I could ever have imagined. Just kidding - Logan is such a great kid because of his mom (and dad, have to give Trung some credit!).
