Day 31: Core Story

December 31 – Core Story What central story is at the core of you, and how do you share it with the world?

Yeah, I did it. I made it all the way through the prompts. I enjoyed this process, especially today. What a better way to spend the last day of 2010 than to sit in my pjs in front of the fire place (ok a fake one, but whatever...) and to blog about the past year. Granted I never did get back to the original couple of blogs from early in month, but oh well. I'm still counting this as an accomplishment.

Looking back at my posts from this past month, I think there is one significant thing that stands out above all rest. While I love my organization of my life, the most important thing to me is spending time, even during the minor everyday moments, with the people I love the most. This is what I remember the most from the past year, what I count as my highest accomplishments and what I have as a significant goal for the next year. While this year was stressful and possibly one of the hardest years of my life, I still have a lot of great memories with my son to hold onto for years to come. In fact, I do believe that the rough times will just fade into the past and we will eventually just remember them as a road that led him down the path he needed to be on to be a successful, happy, loving son, husband, father, man. I'm thrilled by the thought of 2011. It is a time for me to continue to practice what I love most and to lose the thoughts of the things that make me the most stressed out. Thank you for yet another year!
