Missing Limb

Yep, I'm now missing part of my body. OK, maybe not a limb. That might be overstating it. I cut off the very tip of my finger yesterday. Either way, it still hurt really bad & bled a lot!!  I was slicing some potatoes on the mandolin and sliced the tip off right down to my fingernail. Unfortunately it was the index finger on my right hand.  Typing is very difficult :).  I did go into the doctor because I couldn't get it to stop bleeding. They couldn't stitch anything - nothing to close up - no tip - but they did put on this cool styrofoam stuff that will temporarily replace the tip until it can start healing. I wonder if my tip will grow back or if I'll have a divet there? Still hurts. And Caleb says I'm overreacting. Seriously, it hurts, and I have a 32 hour labor of an ornery boy to compare it to. So, RIP in my fingertip. It was nice knowing you for the past 40 years...
