Holy Storm!

Caleb & both woke up last night - maybe around 2am? - to a whopper of a storm.  The rain was going down so hard that you couldn't see two feet out the window.  And, the wind was whipping the trees around. 

So, as you can imagine, my first worry this morning was what kind of damage we had.  Well, I've only perused the basement & looked out window so far, but I think we might have gotten lucky.  There are multiple large branches down & one is sitting fairly close to Caleb's car.  And, there is one area of the basement where about 3 feet of the carpet is pretty wet.  I also have a random branch on my deck from my neighbor's tree. 

Other than the fact that I need to clean up the water in the basement & get rid of some branches, I think we were pretty lucky!  Especially since there were whole trees blown down across the city!!
